The Central Alberta Lyme society was founded to provide support for people affect by Lyme & other Tick Borne Diseases (TBDs). Many people with Lyme & TBDs struggle to get a diagnosis; CALS assists people by providing a monthly and online support group.

CALS has partnered with TickEase to create our very own #TicKits. These kits provide all the necessary tools to help prevent Lyme & TBDs while you are enjoying the great outdoors.

The frequency of TBDs are growing rapidly and affecting many Albertans and Canadians. Many people are still unaware of the risks of Lyme & TBDs. CALS organizes events and works with community partners to educate the public on tick awareness and the prevention of TBDs. Our Lyme Awareness educational events are instrumental to help better understand this disease and guide others towards an accurate diagnosis.
